You add extensions to your inventory. Each extension takes one slot. You can scan any slotted extension unlimited times during your billing period.
You can remove an extension to free up a slot (subject to your swap limit), or upgrade your plan for more capacity.
A slot swap is when you remove an extension from a monitored slot to make room for a different one. The number of swaps you get each billing cycle depends on your plan — 10 on Team, 20 on Business, and 30 on Enterprise. This prevents abuse while allowing flexibility to adjust your inventory as your needs change. Adding an extension to an empty slot does not count as a swap — only removing one does.
Yes. We continuously track the VS Code Marketplace for extensions that are pulled for being malicious. If any extension in your monitored slots is removed for a security reason, we notify you so you can uninstall it and respond to the exposure right away.
Existing token balances are preserved as legacy tokens. They can be used to scan extensions not in your monitored slots. No new tokens can be purchased.
Yes, you can change your plan at any time through the API Portal. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
